The 05th merit list for the GDS posts will be released on the 05th of December 2024. All of the applicants who have their names on the merit list, report at the Post Office on the given date will get posted on the GDS posts. The applicants who did not report at the Post Office will not be allowed and their seats remain vacant in the Post Office. So far, the Post Office has released 5 merit lists for the GDS posts. The dates for these merit lists are given below. The applicants can hope for the 06th merit list from the Post Office soon, in the mid of December 2024.

India Post GDS Postal Result 2024: Document Verification Process
The applicants who got selected in the 06th merit list are required to approach the Post Office on the given date. The Post Office persons will verify all of the documents of the applicants. After the verification process of all of the required docs of the applicants, the applicants will be invited to come daily for the job on the GDS posts. The list of documents that will be verified by the Post Office is given below.
- 10th DMC
- Aadhaar card or any other Identity proof like PAN Card, Voter ID, etc.
- Caste certificate for reservation purposes SC, ST, OBC, etc.
- PWD certificate if applicable for you
- EWS certificate if applicable for you
- Transgender certificate if applicable for you
- Birth certificate of the person to prove the DOB
- A medical certificate will be submitted before joining the GDS posts.
- Certificate to show the local language of the region like tribal/local dialects
